Sewanee Slips to Third Through 36 Holes at SAA Championships

DICKSON, Tenn. - Despite a 329 second round, the Sewanee women's golf team dropped down one spot to third after two rounds at the 2018 Southern Athletic Association Women's Golf Championships at the Greystone Golf Club.

TOP PERFORMANCES
-Meghan Symonds is currently four strokes behind Jorie Hodapp of Berry with a 158 score, Scoring 81 on the second set of 18 holes, the junior is currently in a tie for fifth.

-Also tied for fifth is Sophia Morrill, who fired an 83 second round.

-Mary Elizabeth Benton stays in 13th place with a 163 score, while Natalie Javadi fired a 167.

-Corinne Parrish rounded out the scoring with a 172.

-Berry currently holds a 13-stroke lead over Oglethorpe headed into the final round with a 628.

UP NEXT
The final round will begin, weather permitting, on Sunday with an 8 a.m. shotgun start.
