Morrill Leads Field, Women’s Golf One Stroke Behind Berry After Day One of SAA Championships

DICKSON, Tenn. - The Sewanee women's golf team trails Berry by one stroke after day one of the 2018 Southern Athletic Association Women's Golf Championships.

TOP PERFORMANCES
-Sophia Morrill fired a two-over, 75 to lead the field of 42 golfers after the first 18 holtes.

-Meghan Symonds is two strokes behind her teammate with a four-over, 77, good for a tie for third.

-Mary Elizabeth Benton is in 12th with an 81, while Corinne Parrish scored an 83.

-Natalie Javadi rounded out the scoring with an 84 first round.
