
MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. - The Sewanee women's golf team wrapped up the fall portion of the 2017-18 schedule this week at the Golfweek Preview. The 54-hole tournament was played at the Baytowne Golf Club.
Leading the way for Sewanee was Meghan Symonds, who fired a 239 (82-77-80) and finished in a tie for 22nd.
Sarah Battye finished a stroke behind Symonds, who finished with a 240 (83-78-79), while Sophie Morrill scored a 249 (84-80-85).
Corrinne Parrish and Natalie Javadi wrapped up the Tigers. Parrish posted a 252 (83-82-87) in the three-day tournament, while Javadi was a stroke behind Parrish with a 253 (86-85-82).
The Tigers finished in eighth out of 16 teams in the tournament, firing a 975 (332-317-326).
Sewanee will open the spring schedule March 5-6, when they travel to Pine Mountain, Ga. for the Callaway Gardens Collegiate.
