MOVIN' ON UP: Head women's basketball coach Tracey Braden is slowly moving up the ranks of wins at Sewanee. With the Tigers' 67-57 victory over the Warriors of Hendrix College on Feb. 1, Braden sits all alone in sixth place in women's basketball history.

Current Assistant Athletic Director Dickie McCarthy is the winningest coach in Sewanee women's basketball history with 106.

TREANTON TERROR: In four of her last six games, Ellie Treanton has been on a tear from the floor. In Sewanee's 72-69 double OT victory against Birmingham-Southern, the freshman drained 20 points on 7-of-17 shooting. She followed that performance with 17 against Millsaps and 18 at Hendrix.

The Clarksville, Tenn. native is eighth in points per game inside conference play with 11.8. Also inside SAA action, her 83.8 percent mark from the charity stripe is good for third-best in the league.

A LOOK AT THE VIKINGS: Ever since Sewanee defeated the Vikings by 20 points on Jan. 11, there was a change in the atmosphere. With a 4-11 overall and a 0-4 league record after that game, the Vikings have rolled to seven straight wins, including a 56-53 win over Millsaps on Feb. 1 at home.

The seven-game winning streak has not come easy for Berry, as the average margin of victory is just 6.6.

Alex Weems leads the Vikings with 14.6 per game, but it's the game of Jana Morning, who has averaged 12.2 per game inside SAA play.

Speaking of streaking, the Tigers have won the last six meetings against the Vikings, but it's Berry who has an 8-6 advantage.

A LOOK AT THE STORMY PETRELS: The Stormy Petrels finally earned a national ranking last weekend, as they were tied for 25th with Washington-St. Louis. Millsaps changed that on Feb. 3. The Majors took down the Petrels, 56-54, to secure first place overall in the league with three games to go.

The Petrels are nationally ranked in opposition points (51.6), field goal percentage (32.6) and three-point field goal percentage (25.2).

Savannah LeGate leads OU in scoring (12.4) and rebounds (8.4). Lauren Ransom has scored 10.7 per game inside conference play with LeGate.

In the team's first meeting on Jan. 13, OU downed Sewanee, 73-48 in Atlanta.
