ROME, Ga. (Oct. 17, 2015) – The Sewanee men and women's cross country teams finished fourth at the Berry Invitational, Saturday, in Rome, Ga.
In the women's meet, Sewanee finished fourth with 100 points. Emory won the event with 35 points while Young Harris and Berry finished second and third, respectively.
The Tigers were led by Ansley McDurmon, who placed 23rd with a time of 23:49.8. Amy Lee finished a spot behind McDurmon with a time of 23:52.9.
Junior Alexandra Bingham rounded out the top-three finishers for Sewanee with a 26th place after she crossed the finish line at 23:57.2.
On the men's side, Sewanee finished fourth with 146 points. Berry won the meet while SAA rival Birmingham-Southern and Young Harris finished second and third, respectively.
The Tigers were led by junior Logan Stockton, who finished 18th with a time of 26:52.2. Freshman Jackson Goodwin was 24th with a time of 27:14.7 while Alec Hill crossed the line at 27:51.4 for a 42nd place finish.
Sewanee returns to action on October 31st at the SAA Championships in Danville, Ky.
