After a second place finish in the 100-meter hurdles, Warm broke her own school record in the high jump. Warm finished the event in first place after she cleared the bar at 5'6”. That mark was over a foot higher than second place finisher Shelby Moore of BSC.
Additionally, in the field events, Thomas Walters finished second in the pole vault, with a 3.65m mark.
On the track, Sewanee continued to do well. Senior Faith Spencer finished in third place in the women's 200-meter dash, with a time of 26.89 seconds. Moments later, Spencer again placed third, this time in the 400-meters, with a mark of 1:02.00.
Also on the women's side, Sheldon Mills placed third in the 800-meter run while Caroline Roberts was third in the 1500-meters, behind teammate Cara Martin. The Tigers then placed second in the 4X400 meter race, while Roberts earned the runner-up spot in the 400-meter hurdles.
In the men's events, Robert Waterhouse sprinted his way to a second-place finish in the 100-meter dash. The first-year Tiger finished in 11.88 seconds, a mere .15 seconds behind winner Mitch Swanson of BSC.
In the 200-meter dash, Sewanee placed two runners inside the top-three. Wilson DeLaney placed second with a time of 24.30 seconds, while Peter Sidrys finished in 24.82.
In the 800-meter run, Miller Thornbury placed second in 2:06.92, which added eight points to Sewanee's team total. Moments later, Clay Bond and Hudson Robb finished in second and third place in the men's 1500-meter run. Finally, Tyler Wilcox closed out the distance events in the 5000-meter run with a mark of 17:26.03.
Sewanee will continue its outdoor season at the Boston-Moon Classic in Nashville, Tenn., April 14th.
