CLAREMONT, Calif. - The National Collegiate Athletic Association has announced the brackets for the men's and women's NCAA Individual Championships, which set to begin on Thursday.
Recently announced as the ITA's Atlantic-South Player to Watch, Gray has tallied a 12-6 record, with an 11-5 mark coming at the No. 1 flight in 2018. The Chattanooga, Tenn. native is making his first appearance at the Singles Championship.
Kerrigan enters the Singles Championship with a 17-9 record, and, after a 21-9 mark in singles play a year ago, the sophomore makes his second straight appearance in the Singles Championship. The Austin, Texas native is ranked 12th in the Oracle/ITA Division III Men's National Singles Rankings.
The opening round matchup will commence on Thursday at 10:45 a.m. CT / 8:45 a.m. PT.
Davila is ranked 38th in the Oracle/ITA Women's National Singles Rankings, and she will enter her second straight Singles Championship with a 15-3 record en route to a Most Improved Senior honors by the ITA. The Mexico City, Mexico native is seeking her 50th singles win, as she is 49-27.
Ranked 15th in the Singles Rankings, Raventos is a three-time Singles All-American, making the finals in 2016. The San Jose, Costa Rica native is 23-6 on the season.
The student-athletes will compete in the first round Thursday afternoon at 2 p.m. CT / 12 p.m. PT.
First and second round action begins on Thursday, with the quarterfinals and semifinals scheduled for Friday. The championships will be played on Saturday.
The 2018 NCAA Men's and Women's Team and Individual Championships are taking place this week at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, Calif., and will be hosted by the Claremont McKenna- Harvey- Mudd- Scripps Colleges.
