SEWANEE, Tenn. - The 22nd-ranked Sewanee men's tennis team defeated No. 40 Millsaps, 6-3, on Saturday at the Bruton-Guerry Tennis Center on Senior Day.

-Prior to the match, the Tigers honored their lone senior, Davis Owen, for his contributions on the court.

-The Majors took the No. 1 and No. 3 doubles to lead 2-1 headed into singles play.

-The Purple and Gold picked up the pace in singles, with Jack Gray winning the No. 1 point over Diego Marti-Vertiz 7-6 (2) in the second set.

-Ryan Olps and Alex Centurion went three sets, but the home team took the No. 3 points, 6-3, 2-6, 6-2.
