Sewanee crushes Rhodes 9-0 in SAA semifinals

MURFRESSBORO, Tenn. (April 26, 2014) – The Sewanee men's tennis team earned a return trip to the Southern Athletic Association (SAA) Championship match with an impressive 9-0 win over rival Rhodes, Saturday, at Old Fort Park.

Unlike they did in the regular season, Sewanee came out and dominated the doubles matches. Sewanee won at all three positions with scores of 8-4, 8-2, and 8-6.

In singles action, the Tigers kept dominating.

Sewanee won in straight sets at all six courts. Avery Schber, Rand Jackson, Connor Winkler, Eric Roddy, Alex Cooper, and Sean Laughlin all earned victories.
