Tigers keep rolling with 6-3 win over Millsaps

JACKSON, Miss. (April 13, 2013) – The Sewanee men's tennis team earned a 6-3 win at Southern Athletic Association (SAA) foe Millsaps, Saturday, at the Coach Montgomery Courts in Jackson, Miss.

The Tigers opened with a pair of doubles wins by Connor Winkler and Eric Roddy and by Levi Joy and David Human.

In singles action, Sewanee closed out the win as Winkler defeated Adam Tilly in straight sets 6-3, 6-2 and Sean Laughlin earned a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Sean Solomonoff.

The Tigers then added two more wins in singles play. Human first defeated Thomas Millis by a score of 6-0, 6-2 while Joy followed that up with a 6-4, 6-2 victory past Misa Pjevac.

The Tigers will quickly return to action with a 9:00 a.m. match at Birmingham-Southern, Sunday.
