ATLANTA - Announced by the Southern Athletic Association on Monday morning, three Sewanee men's soccer players have been selected to the All-SAA Men's Soccer Team.
Johnston finishes his career as a four-time All-SAA selection. The Sewanee, Tenn. native finished his senior campaign with 11 goals and 24 points on a .151 shooting percentage. Four of his 11 goals were game-winners, tied for second in the conference. He finishes his career with 27 goals and 62 points.
McNeill was a defensive weapon for the Tigers in 2018 as the junior earns his first All-Conference selection. Playing in 14 games, the Raleigh, N.C. native helped his defense to allow 10.5 shots and 1.43 goals per game.
Sipilä was the primary corner kicker for Sewanee in 2018. The Helsinki, Finland native matched a career-best six assists, tied for third in the SAA. The junior, earning his second All-Conference bid, has recorded 15 assists and 27 points.
Sewanee finished the 2018 season with a 7-9-1 record, as the team averaged 1.88 goals and 17.7 shots per match.
