Fast Start Powers Men’s Soccer Over Huntingdon

SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee men's soccer team earned its second consecutive clean sheet, cruising to a 5-0 win over Huntingdon Tuesday night from Puett Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Sewanee started the contest with two goals in the first 10 minutes with both coming off of Kyle Johnston. The first goal, coming in the fourth minute, was off an Alpo Sipilȁ corner kick. Four-plus minutes later, he found Ben Vaeth's pass.

-The first half ended on a Huntingdon own goal before scoring two more in the final 45 minutes.

SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Kyle Johnston doubled his goal total on the season with two in the contest on 10 shots, six on goal. He also attributed an assist.

-Severin Velasco and Marco Randazzo each added a goal for the Tigers in the win.

-James Murray (3-2) collected his second consecutive clean sheet with two saves.

HUNTINGDON KEY STATISTICS
-Mac Puller took three shots, one on goal, to lead the Hawks.

-Zak Heino (0-5) saved nine shots in full time.
