Santos lifts BSC past Sewanee with a second-half goal

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (Oct. 18, 2015) – A goal in the 55th minute by Birmingham-Southern's Cody Santos gave the host Panthers a 1-0 win over the Sewanee men's soccer team, Sunday, at Goldfarb Field.

Sewanee's bad luck continued Sunday, as the Tigers have lost their three matches by one goal each.

Overall, BSC outshot Sewanee 13-6. The majority of both teams' attempts were not on-goal as each keeper finished with one save.

Sewanee returns to action with a 7:30 p.m., match, Friday against Berry.
