Logan Schrader enters his first season as an assistant with the Sewanee Football program; he is primarily responsible for the quarterbacks. 

Schrader previously served as an intern coach at his alma mater, Wartburg College, in Waverly, Iowa.

Prior to his coaching career, Schrader had an outstanding career as a college quarterback and professional player for the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes in Kiel, Germany.

For the Hurricanes, Schrader led Kiel Baltic to an 11-4-1 record where his team finished fifth in the top European league. During his college career, Schrader was a 2014 and 2015 Gagliardi Trophy semifinalist (Division III Most Outstanding Player) at Warburg.

He was named the Iowa Intercollegiate Athletic Conference MVP in 2014 and 2015 and was a 2014 D3football.com All-American. Additionally, Schrader was a 2014 & 2015 USA College Football All-American and a 2015 D3football.com, Lindy's, and USA College Football Preseason First-Team All-American.

During his career, Schrader led Wartburg to a 36-9 record as a starter. He holds school records for total offense in a game (533), passing yards in a season (3,187), passing touchdowns in a season (30), total offense in a season (3,652), total touchdowns in a season (37), career passing yards (9,150), career completions (659), career passing touchdowns (71), career touchdowns (92), and career total offense (10,652).
