GRANDBURY, Texas - The Sewanee football team is one of seven schools and an all star team to travel overseas with Global Football Spring Tours.
Sewanee will travel to Athens, Greece and Rome, Italy beginning May 13 through May 21.
On Saturday, May 18, the University of the South will be in Rome where the Sewanee Tigers take on the Lazio Ducks of the Italian Football League. The contest will begin at 9 a.m. CT from Rome, Italy. Fans can click on the link above to watch the contest.
Club and all-star teams from Austria, China, Germany, Italy, Spain and the Czech Republic will welcome an Ivy League school, Division III colleges and a high school select team as Global Football takes travelers into the international arena for a 24th consecutive year in 2019.
