Hill Advances to National Championship Show

AUBURN, Ala. - Senior rider Aelin Hill has qualified for the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association’s National Championship Show in Syracuse, N.Y. with her second place finish in the Cacchione Cup via winning the Fences portion.

The Mequon, Wis. native took home a victory in the Fences portion and second overall after her Flat portion.

She has qualified for the show, joining 23 other qualified riders from across the country to compete at the National Championship Show on May 2-5.

Hill also finished seventh in the region in the Individual Open Fences at the event hosted by Auburn University.

Also competing at the Zone Championships was Christopher Chin. The junior finished fifth in the Walk/Trot division.
