Five Tigers qualify for Zones after a successful regional show

SEWANEE, Tenn. (March 18, 2017) – Five Sewanee equestrian student-athletes have qualified for the upcoming Zone Finals after successful performances at the IHSA Regionals, Friday, in Sewanee.

Aelin Hill led the way after she was second high point rider in the region. Hill qualified for the Zone Finals in the Open Flat after she finished second in her event. Michael Wallace also rode well with a second place finish in the Open Over Fences. Wallace finished the season ranked third in the region.

Lindsay Stevenson and Sophie Streitweiser also did well when they both took second place in the Novice Over Fences and Walk Trot.

Finally, Kathryn Miller and Mary Marshall Fariss will go to Zones as alternatives in the Intermediate Flat and Intermediate Over Fences.
