SEWANEE, Tenn. - Sewanee baseball earned two victories in Friday's doubleheader with the Mississippi University for Women, 13-0 and 8-1, from Montgomery Field.

-Derek Hullings brought the third run of the inning home on an RBI single to bring home Allen.
-In the fourth, Sewanee brought home five runs, led by Beau Allen's two-run RBI triple.
-Leading 9-0 heading into the bottom of the sixth, the home team brought four runs, capped by Brandvold's two-run single to give the Tigers the 13-0 win.
HOW IT HAPPENED, GAME 2
-In the bottom of the second inning, Tyler Dunbar scored the first run of game two on an error.
-After the Owls evened the score in the top of the third, the Tigers exploded for six runs in the bottom half, led by a two-run RBI single by Drew Mancuso.
-The Tigers added a run in the sixth to secure the 8-1 victory.
-Mancuso (1-2) tossed a seven-inning complete game shutout in the opener, allowing three hits and punching out nine.
-Trey Holland (1-2) allowed one unearned run on five hits in five innings in the evening cap.
MUW KEY STATISTICS
-Lukas Murphy notched two hits in the second game for the Owls.
-Drew Williams (3-2) and Will Peters (2-2) took the loss for the visitors.
