SEWANEE, Tenn. - Sewanee baseball stumbles with Maryville on Wednesday afternoon with a 10-1 loss to the Scots from Montgomery Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
-Maryville scratched across three runs to start the contest, with all the runs coming with two outs.

-Sewanee responded with a run in the bottom half of the second inning. Jake Woolard brought Jared Demkowicz home on a groundout.

-Leading 3-1 going into the third, the Scots tallied single runs in the third, fourth and fifth before scoring four in the eighth.

SEWANEE KEY STATISTICS
-Derek Hullings recorded a walk and a hit, while Jared Demkowicz recorded two free passes.

-Jake Woolard tallied the lone RBI for Sewanee.

-Justin Lavender (0-1) allowed five earned runs in five innings, striking out two.

-Bryce Redaja went 4-for-5 with the homer and three RBI.
