The Scots then added two more runs when Nick Dean drove in Logan Jenkins with an RBI single to left an inning later.

Hawks would go on and hammer another two-run blast in the top of the sixth. The visiting Scots then add a single run in the seventh before breaking open the contest with four runs on three hits in the eighth.

Sewanee's lone run came in the bottom of the seventh, as leaderoff hitter Tyler Minkkinen drove in Ben Clune with a SAC fly.
