CINCINNATI, Ohio – After getting out to a 7-3 first half lead, Sewanee held off a second half rally by Mount St. Joseph for the the eventual 11-10 men’s lacrosse win.
Carson Pfeifer (Louisville, Ky., Collegiate) and
Pierce Leonard (Charlotte, N.C., Culver Academy) scored three goals each and
Thomas Moore (Dallas, Texas, Episcopal) had two goals and three assists to lead the Tiger offensive effort.
Spencer Graves (Lynchburg, Va., Episcopal) held the back line in goal for Sewanee and picked up 13 saves. Connor White Led MSJ with three goals.
Sewanee is now 2-9 and will play SCAC foe Southwestern next weekend. Guilford is now 3-9.
