St. LOUIS, Mo. -- Sewanee moved to 6-4 Saturday with a 14-11 win over Fontbonne after leading 8-5 at the half in women’s lacrosse action.
Steffi Renninger (Darnestown, Md., Sidwell Friends) led Sewanee with five goals and also logged an assist.
Megan Welton (Germantown, Tenn., Houston) contributed four goals in the Tiger effort, also.
Amy Nusbaum (Norfolk, VA, Norfolk Academy) grabbed seven saves in goal on the day.
The 6-4 Tigers will play North Central tomorrow afternoon in St. Louis.
