LOUISVILLE, Ky. 10/3/09 – Chris Hague (Kensington, Md., Bullis) finished in the top 23rd and posted a personal best time (26:37) at today’s Greater Louisville Cross Country Classic. Hague led a host of Sewanee runners who also recorded personal best times including Andrew Jolley (Morristown, Tenn., Morristown West), Clay Bond (Atlanta, Ga., Lovett), Patrick Platzer (Mobile, Ala., St. Paul's), Will Cowan (Nashville, Tenn., Franklin Road Academy), and Thompson Wells (Chattanooga, Tenn., McCallie) in the men’s race and Mitzi Harrington (Warner, N.H., Dana Hall), Mary Matthews (New Orleans, La., Sacred Heart) and Maureen Russell (Towson, Md.) for the women.
The men's team finished 16th in the 33 team field and the women 25th out of 35 teams.
