LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Sewanee swimming and diving teams rallied after a slow start on Wednesday and Thursday at the SCAC Swimming and Diving Championships in Luisville. After Thursday’s swimming finals, the Tiger men were sixth and the women were fifth after a series of disappointing DQs. On Friday and Saturday, Sewanee rallied and in the “most unlikely comeback” veteran coach Max Obermiller has ever seen, the women climbed back to fourth and the men moved from sixth all the way up to third place. Trinity won both the men’s and women’s championships.
