SEWANEE, Tenn. -- Sewanee football has announced its 2010 newcomers, according to Robert Black, head coach for the Tigers. "We are so pleased with this class. Not only are these young men talented in the class room (with an average GPA of 3.8 and an average SAT of 1270), they are also talented football players.  We feel like this class is one of the most talented and balanced in terms of position groups we have had. The class represents a great cross section of our country coming from Tennessee, Georgia, Alabama, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia, Kansas, Louisiana, New England, Delaware, New York, and Nevada, exemplifying another year of how we are able to recruit young men from all over the country.  Many of them will have the chance to contribute right away this season, and I look forward to seeing them wearing purple and gold for the next four years."
