Sewanee SAAC to Sponsor Canned Food Drive

SEWANEE, Tenn. - The Sewanee Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is sponsoring a canned food drive for the month of November to donate canned goods to the Grundy County Food Bank.

From now until Nov. 20, fans will have the opportunity to donate canned goods for the Food Bank. A box is placed at the Control Center Desk at the main entrance of the Fowler Center.

Donation boxes will also be available during the men's basketball season opener against Emory & Henry on Nov. 15.

Donations will also be accepted on the weekend of Nov. 17-19, during the Igloo Invitational and the Lon Varnell Classic.

In 2016, the SAAC donated 544 canned goods, and we are looking to collect more cans this year.
